Last December I chose to apply to become journalist for AEGEE’s online magazine – The AEGEEan and have for this reason been focusing on writing articles for The AEGEEan rather than writing articles for my own blogs. Want u back is definantly my fave track from Cher Lloyd’s album “Sticks and Stones”, and I got very happy when I saw that it is not only her new single but there is already a video to the song too!! (I mean, how many videos can this girl make in such a short time: Dub on the track, Swagger Jagger, With ur luv and now want u back).

We Danish people go crazy whenever we hear Barbie girl abroad, and it is not few places. However, the song popularity still surprises me and during the last six months I have heard it in a taxi in Macedonia, in several bars/clubs in Spain & during karaoke in the international Students forum AEGEE. But Aqua is not the only act from our little country to the North that has managed to become popular outside our borders. Here is my list (ranged as good as I could according to popularity), of songs that are made by Danes.
I found it necessary to share the opion of the Spanish Youth Council with the rest of Europe, and rest of the world in general.
I became a member of AEGEE (European’s Students Forum (AEGEE.org) in March 2011 and quickly got to realize how fortunate we are as an organization to have the help of the Youth in Action program. For this reason I can today say that I feel more European that I’ve ever felt, and that in less than one year I’ve gotten to learn about the differences in culture, politics and stereotypes amongst many things in less than one year. I am afraid that this all will change, and it probably will, if the European Commision discontiues with the Youth In Action program as being an independent initiative as the Spanish Youth Council states.
Please help us with spreading the word that we need Youth In Action for our organization, and for creating a better future and possibilites for our continent and the people (especially young people) who live within it.
